Head coach of Niger Tornadoes, Hamza Abara has declared that his wards will use their 2-0 win over Wikki Tourists as a preparation for this weekend match against Remo Stars in Sagamu

Abara says their triumphant victory over the Giant Elephants in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 15 would help them in their bid to beat the drop.

“That memory against Wikki Tourists will help the technical crew and the players,” Abara said at the Bako Kontagora Stadium on Wednesday afternoon after the Ikon Allah Boys destroyed Tafa FC 5-0 in the Niger State FA Cup second round.

“It will help us as a team to try and turn things around”.

“We know Remo Stars at their home ground will be a kind of difficult prospect, but the memory from last Sunday will live with the players.”

“We are going to Shagamu to start from where we left off. We would be taking the game as it comes,” he added.

Niger Tornadoes travel to Shagamu to face Sky Blue Stars in the NPFL Matchday 16.
