A brace on Tuesday night from Paul Onuachu powered KRC Genk to a 6-1 victory against Westerlo in the Jupiler League.

Onuachu’s double came in a dominant first half performance for Genk, where they cruised to a 5-1 lead at the Cegeka Arena.

The 28 year-old’s resurgence, after a difficult start to the season, has been consistent.

He has scored six goals so far this campaign, all coming in the last four games.

Genk are on a 12-game unbeaten streak and sit top of the table, four points ahead of Antwerp who can close up the gap after Thursday’s game against Oostende.

KRC have dropped points once since their opening day defeat to Club Brugge, and it came in a goalless draw against St. Truiden.
