Head Coach Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan, Edith Olumide Agoye has assured the fans of Ibadan based soccer Lords that the Club would not defeat in the ongoing 2018/2019 Nigeria National League.
Fielding questions from www.brila.net on Monday, Ekiti born tactician posited that although the result of their last match away to Abia Comets in Aba is inconsequential, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, will storm Aba with the aim of picking the maximum points.
UK trained Coach added that despite the fact that the play off sole ticket of the Group B1 of the Nigerian National League (NNL) already in their hands, 3SC can’t afford to joke with the last game against Comets.
However, the Chief coach of the Oluyole Warriors, Edith Olumide Agoye, said his team will approach the encounter with utmost seriousness.
In his words:
“It’s no longer a news that we are home and dry as far as topping the group is concerned but we have many things to play for in Aba.
” Shooting Stars is a big club, we want to prove that
we are having an unbeaten run in the league, we want to maintain that and don’t forget, Abia Comets came to Ibadan and forced us to a draw, it is pay back time”, said the former Gateway FC of Abeokuta gaffer.
It would be recalled that the Agoye tutored 3SC won five, drew two and lost none of their seven matches played so far, scoring 12 goals, conceding just three in the process.
The next point of call for Ex Shooting Stars forward tutored side is Aba where they are expected to take their unassailable 17 points against Abia Comets for the last match of the second tier league
