Nigeria forward David Okereke was on target in Club Brugge’s 3-0 home victory over Kortrijk in Saturday’s Belgian First Division A clash.

Okereke, 21, came from the bench to seal his side win after Hans Vanaken’s brace had given Philippe Clement’s men a 2-0 halftime lead.

The Nigerian was thrown into the fray in the 62nd minute and scored his team’s third goal six minutes later.

So far he has scored seven goals for the league leaders; Club Brugge have picked up 33 points from 13 games and remain unbeaten.

For the visitors, Nigeria’s Abdul Jeleel Ajagun and Ezekiel Imoh were thrown into the fray,  but their introduction could not prevent the Guys from going down.
