Nigeria have been drawn alongside hosts Morocco as well as Burkina Faso and South Africa in group A for the 12th edition of the 2019 Africa games.
Athletes from 53 countries will jostle for honours in the multi sports events at four different venues, starting from August 19, 2019.
The Nigeria Football Federation has however confirmed that the Country’s Under 20 team, the Flying Eagles will compete at the event and will be tutored by Paul Aigbogun.
In Group B, defending Champions Senegal will battle Ghana, Burundi and Mali.
The Flying Eagles will according to reports resume camping this weekend in Abuja with majority of the players that flopped at the FIFA Under 20 world cup in Poland expected to be part of the team.
