The 2019/2020 NWPL season will kick off today across the Federation.
After serial postponement of the new NWPL season, female footballers in the country will now have the opportunity of taking to the pitch to do their job.
At the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers Angels will lock horns with FC Robo Queens, the club that produced National Team Players Asisat Oshoala and Rasheedat Ajibade.
At the Osogbo Township Stadium, Osun Babes will slug it out with Delta Queens, while Adamawa Queens will visit Heartland Queens at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Imo State.
Dream Stars Ladies will host Edo Queens at the Agege Township Stadium, just as Sunshine Queens ambush Nasarawa Amazons in Akure, Ondo State.In other match venues, Bayelsa Queens will face Kaduna Queens, Confluence Queens will trade tackles with Ibom Angels and Invincible Angels will be the guests of Abia Angels.
All the games will kick-off simultaneously at 4pm Nigerian Time.
